Fibre Engineer Gang Operatives
Due to expansion and growth, we are recruiting Experienced Fibre Engineer Gangs on behalf of our client who are a world-leading independent telecommunications business based in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Work will be based within England and Wales; you will be fully mobile with this role and must be prepared to stay away from home of which will be booked and contributed to by our client.
You must be prepared to own your own site from start to finish as a two-man gang which could be near a UK based industrial estate/business park where fibre will be fed from own developed DSLam equivalent cabinet.
Duties will include:-
·Rod, rope and test rod
·Pull in sub-duct then pull in Fibre
·Terminate splice as shown at each end; one end at cabinet at roadside, other end at business premises cabinet
·Submit test results
·Must be able to splice and test fibre and record all stages of work. Fibre splicing training will not be given but a skill test/assessment will be done for all applicants.
·Will use 12F 24F 48F and as such not be using huge fibre nodes/joints
·Photos and reporting will be expected and full training on recording and site capture will be given.
·Must have experience in pulling rope/fibre and rod testing/rod roping.
·Full driving licence (no bans in last 5 years) B+E entitlement beneficial (towing of trailers)
A Van, tools and fuel card will be supplied.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:30 hours (Saturday is available)
Full flexibility is required due to nature of work.
Contract for Services (CIS)
From £1,000 each per week with potential to earn over £1,300 each weekly
