A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor/Retail Assistant to join a leading multi-channel online retailer with a sustained focus on growth, based in Perry Barr,Birmingham.

The purpose of this role is to provide a quality and friendly service to customers, with the aim of increasing customer retention, customer satisfaction, and receiving positive customer reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answering customer calls
  • Taking orders from customers
  • Responding to customer queries on email
  • Assist customers with a variety of queries including product information and returns
  • Handling customer complaints when required
  • Conducting stock checks
  • Placing orders for trade counter stock
  • Booking in deliveries/putting away stock
  • Pricing – working out margins/mark-up
  • Product knowledge – also specific to trade counter

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Strong back ground in Customer Service is a MUST
  • NVQ/Degree in relevant course would be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Friendly telephone manner
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

Working Hours:

40 hours a week. Monday – Friday 8.30am until 6pm with the occasional Saturday shifts 11am until 3pm (1 in every 4 weeks)
