A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Assistant/Secretary to join a well-established law firm based in Ward End.
You will join a conveyancing department where you will be expected to provide both legal assistance and secretarial support to the Conveyancing Executive
•Processing large and small legal documents, including correspondence and bills from manuscript or digital dictation
•Assisting with the reparation of contract packs
•Submitting initial searches, dealing with completions and scheduling deeds
• Diary management
•General support for a busy fee earner
•Maintaining good organisation of new and ongoing files (paper and electronic)
•Taking messages from new and existing clients on the telephone
•Meeting with clients as necessary
•Occasional reception duties from time to time
•Must have previous recent law firm experience in a similar role
•Ideally have residential Conveyancing skills and knowledge of land registry applications and SDLT forms,
•Have good interpersonal and team working skills
•Be capable of working on own initiative
This is a full time role working hours 9am – 5pm
